School Visits & Resources
I do school assemblies and library visits for grades 2-6, as well as after school writing and reading clubs grades 2-12 at no charge for schools in the greater Puget Sound region (Snohomish, King, Pierce, Skagit, and portions of Island County). If you are outside of this region, I do charge travel expenses.
If you want to give away a “lunch with the author” to a smaller group of students as an incentive, I’m happy to stay longer. Please note that when scheduling.
“What can I expect from a school visit?”
To schedule an after school club, please email me at Info@KBJackson.com.
I also do virtual visits via zoom. Please contact Info@KBJackson.com to schedule.

Book Orders
I work with local bookstores to facilitate book orders in advance of the visits. I do try to have all the books signed and labeled for the students who have pre-purchased.
For Northeast Snohomish County orders can be made through Emily at Main St Books in Monroe. Contact Info@KBJackson.com for more information.
For the remaining portions of Snohomish County and King County, orders are placed through Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park. Please contact Sarah Breaux at SBreaux@Thirdplacebooks.com.
For all other districts, please contact Info@KBJackson.com.
If you want to bulk order at a discount directly from Reycraft Books, please contact Noelle Ebner at NEbner@Benchmarkeducation.com.
“What can I expect from a school visit?”
School visits are a fun and entertaining way to engage the next generation of readers and writers. The presentation covers topics like cryptids, the qualities of a good friend and teammate, leadership skills, respect for the environment, storytelling, and my personal journey as an author, including where I got my inspiration for the Sasquatch Hunters series. I usually try to incorporate an interactive element depending on the size of the group, as well as leaving plenty of time for Q&A. I believe that one of the greatest gifts we can give children is the opportunity to feel seen and heard.
I do prefer to have access to some sort of overhead projector if possible.
